Known for her high-end kitchen designs and bathroom designs, on Designer to the Stars, Kari completely renovated spaces for these celebs, wowing them with the amazing results. Kari created a dream kitchen design for Jessica Alba, who surprised her parents with the remodel of their outdated space. Kari transformed the wood from Stanford University's old basketball court into an elegant wine cellar for Emilio Estevez. She also re-purposed the door from an iron grate from a salvage yard and added an 18th century Spanish light fixture and antique mahogany cabinets.
Kari's Moroccan and Spanish influenced bathroom design for actor Kurtwood Smith incorporated mosaic tiles, tumbled Travertine and a custom bathtub. The glass partition between the shower and tub allows the water to collect and run against the wall, creating a beautiful visual effect. This attention to detail is also evident in the Spanish Gothic revival Kari designed for Don Henley, with hand-painted walls and ceilings
This famous interior designer didn't stop there - Kari designed the ultimate outdoor doggie oasis for celebrity design client Kristen Bell. Kari created a hot and cold water dog bath, custom doggie doors with hand-painted moldings and even portraits of the stars' beloved pets.Kari was also a featured celebrity interior designer
